Toys and Books

CKF sends new toys, books, and activity kits to cancer hospitals all over the US to provide entertainment and normalize hospital environments for patients. These toys and books are either collected from donation drives or purchased through online manufacturing sites.

Arts

​

Handmade and digital cards/crafts are distributed to patients in hospitals and at home all around the world. These inspirational, personalized cards brighten patients' days and remind them of the community around them. Our Arts program also distributes other crafts such as coloring books filled with uniquely designed inspirational coloring pages.

Care packages filled with the patient’s dream gifts—from iPads to trampolines—are mailed to individual patients around the world. Our volunteers also design themed packages from Valentine’s Candy-grams to Trick O’ Treat bags for the holidays.

Treatment Services

​

In partnership with international organizations such as World Child Cancer, Cancer Kids First provides resource kits, specialized training for staff, and raises funds to increase access to treatment and care in low-income countries.

Patient Interaction

​

CKF hosts virtual interactive events on Zoom and Google Meets to connect patients with volunteers to provide critical social interaction in the form of conversations, games, and more. All virtual events are designed to cater specifically to that patient.
